Our Activities

Islah O Taraqqi Educational Welfare Society

Educational Empowerment

We love learning and sharing knowledge. The hadith says every human must seek knowledge. Our teachings blend secular and religious wisdom. We go beyond classrooms, shaping good individuals. We want them to help society. Islah Islamic School started in November 2022. Now, 50 boys and girls study there. We’ve given over 200,000 to the needy. Our magazine is ongoing. We’ve held over 100 lectures, medical camps, and online outreach efforts. We’re grateful for Allah’s grace and our achievements. We share our educational and welfare work with others in meetings.

Welfare Support for Needy

Guided by compassion, we extend a helping hand to the less fortunate, inspired by the hadith, The example of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah is like that of a grain which grows seven spikes, and in each spike, there are a hundred grains (Sahih Bukhari). Our welfare initiatives aim to alleviate suffering comprehensively, offering financial assistance, essential commodities, and medical aid to those in need. Through these efforts, we embody the spirit of Islamic charity and caring for our neighbours.

Community Outreach and Unity

At the core of our mission lies community cohesion, evident in various outreach programs fostering Islamic brotherhood. The hadith illustrates that a believer to another believer is like a building whose different parts enforce each other (Sahih Bukhari). Our diverse activities, ranging from social events to religious gatherings, strive to cultivate unity, moderation, and a rational attitude among Muslims and their neighbours. This commitment to unity is a testament to our dedication to building harmonious communities.

Environmental Stewardship

Aligned with our Islamic ethos, we embrace guardianship of the environment, guided by the hadith, The world is sweet and green, and verily Allah is making you successors in it (Sahih Muslim). Through initiatives such as tree planting, clean-up campaigns, and sustainable practices, we actively fulfil our role as stewards of the Earth. Our efforts aim to promote ecological balance, leaving a positive and lasting impact for generations to come.

Medical Camp and Blood Donation Drive

In the religion of Islam, service to humans (Muslims and non-Muslims) is not only a great act of worship and worthy of reward, but service to animals is also worthy of reward and a cause of entry into Paradise. (Bukhari and Muslim)

In our commitment to holistic well-being, we organize medical camps and blood donation drives. Whoever saves a life, it is as if he has saved the whole of mankind (Quran 5:32). These activities not only provide essential healthcare to the underserved but also emphasize the Islamic principle of saving lives. Our blood donation initiatives echo the Prophet’s teachings, fostering a sense of communal responsibility and selflessness, ensuring the well-being of both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Islamic Preaching and Da’wah Workshops

Embracing our duty to spread the message of Islam, we engage in active preaching and Da’wah workshops. Convey from me, even if it is one verse (Sahih Bukhari). This prophetic guidance propels our efforts to share the beauty of Islam with others. Through discussions, seminars, and outreach events, we aim to dispel misconceptions, promote understanding, and nurture an environment of religious tolerance and dialogue within our community and beyond.
